On Tuesday, March 22, 2022, GVFC partnered with Woodbridge High School and the Greenwood Mennonite School on a recruitment initiative to get younger members in our community to join the GVFC. These banners will be displayed inside both schools, with hopes to recruit new Junior Firefighters. In 2021, the GVFC lowered our membership age to 15 years old. We have been very fortunate to have a great Junior Firefighter Program. But, we are always looking for more firefighters. All of the students in the picture at the WHS are Junior Firefighters at the GVFC. Special thanks to JD Sign Company for the banners.
